Must Read: Most of you know DCL/DLCL is struggling for grounds through out the year. This year we even lost the Outrageous Cricket Ground on Saturdays. Yes we know its summer season. We dont have the option but to play in the Month of May and June (3 games a day per ground). So please decide if your team wants to participate in the summer league or not. We will be doing a fair distribution of the games for every team.

Please forward to the folks who have shown interest in playing in the Leather Ball Cricket League and Tape Tennis Ball Dallas Cricket League.I have had few individuals showing interest in spring.

SUMMER 2015 Tournament: Registration OPEN!  Do Not delay your registration as we are very serious about closing the registration on time this year. If your teams plans on playing in the summer league please act immediately and register your team. If you dont register in Summer tournament and you plan to play in DCL again, your team will have to start in the bottom most division. You absolutely cannot play in the same division.

FAQ: We know we are still in the middle of Spring season, why are we starting the summer tournament on May 17th?

Ans: The summer tournament is starting early to use all the grounds assigned to Dallas Cricket League and for the teams that will not be part of the Top 16 teams in the Spring 2015.

Tournament schedule will be released in four phases
Registration Start Date:   Monday, April 27th, 2015
Registration  End  Date:   Sunday, May 3rd, 2015 @ 5 PM! Or As soon as we get 30 teams

Tournament Start Date:     Sunday, May 17th, 2015
Tournament  End  Date:     Sunday, August 23th, 2015

Summer League - Divisional structure     
   
The Summer League is divided into multiple divisions (A-D) where teams play matches with teams within the divisions and are ranked based on their performance at the end of the league season.     
   
Each Division has a Division Champion and Runner up. The bottom 2 teams in each division based on the team rankings at the end of the Summer League season are moved to lower divisions in the following year.
The top 2 teams in each division based on the team rankings at the end of the Summer League season are moved to higher divisions in the following year.
   
A team who misses the Summer League season will loose their spot in the division (Missing Fall or Spring does not have similar effect) and if they come back later they will have to start in the lower division.    
However in a rare occasion if there is a spot open in their original division and the team has missed only 1 Summer season, they will be considered for that particular division.    
   
There is a winner and runners up for each division    

Example:   
Top 2 teams in Division B/C/D will move to Division A/B/C respectively next year    
Botton 2 teams in Division A/B/C will move to Division B/C/D respectively next year
